problems by code a plugin, PLEASE HELP

Hello,

I try to code a general-purpose plugin for Winamp 2.XX with MFC in Visual C++ 6.0. I have downloaded a little sample from www.codeproject.com, the sample run.

Then i try to start with a new project (in Visual Studio). Winamp don't load/start my plugin, when i try to go at Options/Preferences (in Winamp) then Winamp hang.

Can anyone look at my code? The code should only show a MessageBox at init(), config() and quit().

Thanks a lot !!!

I actually wrote that code over at the codeproject and maybe you would have been better posting your question over there.

Anyway, I just tried the code and it worked fine for me under Windows XP Pro. Which OS and version of Winamp are you using?

One other thing - your plugin won't show up in the config dialog because you haven't copied the name of the plugin into the plugin structure.

You needs something like the following in your init routine:

static char c[512];
plugin.description = c;
strcpy(c,"My Test Plug-In v1.00");

Hello Spib,

Thank you very much for your Reply!

I use Winamp 2.80 with Windows 2000.
