shoutcast slideshow

We have radio and tv, but how about slideshow. I know it can be done through the browser, but I suggest a dedicated stream.

To make myself clear: There would be a special shoutcast server, which could stream jpegs. There would be a directory of these servers, next to tv and radio. A client could tune in to a slideshow server and a radio server simultaneously.

Possible server settings: rate, skip files over/under certain size, compress/downsize images.

Possible client settings/controls: reduce/increase the rate of show (when reduced, excess pictures would be buffered; when increased, pictures would be read from buffer until empty), buffer size, transition style.

I searched a little before posting, but if this already has been suggested, please either nuke this post, or copy/paste into appropriate thread.

*bump*

Would anyone else like this feature? There's gotta be at least a few out of 136k members.
