Visual Problem

For some reason whenever I use other skins except Modern and Classic, the Media Libary doesn't change it's design to the skin I choose. Therefore leaving itself in the Classic design while everything else is in the other skins design.

How do I change this?

Could you provide a link to the skin you downloaded?
Not all skins have a skinned Media Library. All skins at www.winamp.com/skins do, as far as I know. Did you download the skin from another source?
Is it a modern or a classic skin?

If that's not it: Did you install any 3rd-party plugins?
Are you using the latest version? (i.e. 5.05)
Please include system specs in your reply.

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.

Probably these are skins that were made before the introduction of the media library in 2.9. Their authors have probably moved on to other things. It is frustrating, though, isn't it?--to download a cool-looking skin & have to turn around and delete it right away.

¿¢? is correct in what he/she said above. How do you change it? You can't. Only the skin author can.

You can do one of 3 things:
1. Contact the author of the classic skin to ask if he/she will change the skin to skin all windows properly

2. Use the classic skin as it is and don't worry about the Media Library, Preferences, etc. being skinned

3. Dump the classic skin that is not fully skinned and use another that is

Wow, I'm pretty sure your right. Bummer. I wonder if they show date releases on these skins so I would know before I download it. But it's not that much of a drag, thanks for the help everyone.

At the Winamp.com skins page, published dates are shown in the skin category listing, search listings and the 'More Info' link.

Also, for the skins them selves. If the skin author included a date, it would be shown in the 'Current skin information' box from the skin browser (Alt+S).

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.
