Step by step how to remove embedded album art using Winamp

Hi everyone,
I have searched this forum for a step by step process of how to remove embedded album art using Winamp but was not able to find it. Some of the hits when I did the search started to touch upon it but quickly digressed into other areas. One hit even stated Winamp was not capable of doing it. But others have stated that Winamp can do it. Could someone please provide a step by step procedure using Winamp to remove embedded album art for mp3 files containing no DRM. If anyone can help that would be awesome!

Requires Winamp 5.51

Right click the playlist entry, select "View File Info"

In the Artwork tab, click the "Delete" button

Click "Yes" to confirm deletion.

Click "OK"

(in some rarer cases, you might need to repeat the above 2 or 3 times)

Deletion Won't Take

Didn't work. I ripped Styx Greatest Hits with dbPoweramp. The album art refuses to change no matter. Change, Delete, Load Artwork, Download Art...this f**g album art won't go away.

Are you sure the art is in the tag, and not in a hidden file like Windows Media Player does?

No, I'm not sure, because I haven't been able to find the offending image in my computer yet; I have 1,000's of jpeg's to search through. However, even assuming it is in a hidden file as you suggest, shouldn't Winamp replace it when I use the Change, Delete, Upload, or Download functions?

Get mp3tag, it will remove the embedded art. If you still have art showing up after that, it is in hidden files, most likely within the album folder.
