Need a download accelerator reccomendation plz...

Okay, I'm downloading some files off an overloaded file server which means it's dividing up it's bandwidth equally between it's users. Well, I'm a punk and want it faster. At one point I had a program that made mulitple connections to the server and downloaded parts of the file making the total download speed faster. However, I seem to have lost the program.

So, does anyone have a reccomendation for me?

www.zdnet.com - goto downloads -- search for "speed up downloads -- look at results and take yours out of the list.

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Thanks, pretty sure this was it.

*EDIT* - However, that seems to be full of spyware, so I'm going to try something else instead...

Realized however that I'm downloading through a ASP file that transfers me to the file and...

Anyway, screw it. I'll just cross my fingers that it doesn't time out.

no, go!zilla is much better than download accelerator, but not the one they have there. old versions like 3.9 are the best but i guess you don't need a link now.

Search for Internet Download Manager. It's free of spyware and adware, but the only catch is that it expires in 60 days. It works great.
