in_mp3.dll updated to 105?

I saw this thread, and if true, I am having a problem with it:

http://winampforum.com/showthread.php?tid=320

did I miss an announcement somewhere?

It's a test version from DrO to fix that specific id3 tag crash/issue,
but the version # hasn't been properly bumped...

There'll maybe/hopefully be an official update pack at some point....

ok, well, I think I found a bug and I only noticed it after I installed 105 so I don't know if its related or not but here's how to reproduce:

take an album of tracks that have artist but no albumartist values.
select all tracks in ML.
edit metadata (ctrl+3)
click into the artist field, copy the highlighted text
click into the albumartist field, paste the text
now, uncheck the artist field as there is no need to rewrite those values

when you do so, you will LOSE the ability to click the "Update" button at the bottom of the dialog.

that test version was NEVER meant to be uploaded publically and MUST be removed!

and the solution for the crash issue is to use the in_mp3 from build 3512 and not that test build.

and no idea about the other one as I'm not looking into Winamp issues anymore.

I've removed the link.

Seeing as the filename is winamp5666_full_all.exe for both 3512 and 3516, it's likely that most people won't have the 3512 installer any more.... though maybe it's still available on some external download site which hasn't updated to 3516 yet?

ah, duh on me. but actually, I have the 105, thx to the post above I can grab the 103, it would be cool to post the 104 as well so as to avoid an unnecessary reinstall just to get it.

You can extract the file out of the installer using 7zip. No need to actually re-install anything.

Thanks for the inmp3 103 build. My 3516 build winamp was having odd crashes over some of my tracks which the previous build would play flawlessly. Until a new build emerges and the new owners make up their plans for winamp, this will do.
