Although it annoys me, it's probably done for a good reason - that is, those people who like rap and/or pop and wear baggy clothes are the ones who are most likely to buy whatever product is being advertised, or they want those who are being advertised to to associate those things with what is being advertised.

Nah, that's bullshit. They're just fucktards who can't make good advertising.

I would make advertising that's either funny (seen that Staples commercial with the "mafia" theme?) or just cool (seen that honda commercial with the domino effect?).

Almost anything else is stupid.

I don't need cloning or parallel universes. Simply stop your aging, get in a time machine, and go back 10 minutes. Then when those 10 minutes go by, get in the time machine you brought back with you, and go back another 10 minutes. This works with just about any time size, and you can have as many people as you want.

That would keep you incredibly busy considering the number of "time jump iterations" you'd have to do.

How long did that process take to generate 100,000 of you, and how did you find time to answer any questions during that replication period?

I don't think you're conceptualizing this.

Person A at 8:00PM goes back in time 1 hour.
Person A becomes person B and meets person A at 7:00.
1 hour passes for person B.
Person B, at 8:00PM goes back in time 1 hour.
Person B becomes person C, and meets person B and A.

At 8:01, by the way, there'd only be one person.

Also, it wouldn't actually happen that way in the view of A. Person A would see all the copies simultaniously.

xzxzzx - Are you going to marry White Raven?

Was this a redundant question?

I honestly have never had tea, so I can't say that I like or dislike it.

Why do you need a scanner disk?

I was conceptualizing all the copies being busy with travel the instant each one "arrived", hence speeding up the process exponentially. But that would mean your question-answering abilities would be paused for the duration of the process. That would also require multiple time machines, or one that could support multiple occupants.

And even though you'd be repeating the same hour, in effect, the actual time for you would be quite long. Then again, you'd only be unavailable to answer questions for one hour at most (by the clock), so the impact on society would be marginal.

Your method works better, though. There's always at least one of you available to "work" through the hour in question.

Next question:

Is this the same way Santa Claus works to get all the toys to all the children of the world in the span of just one night?

(Or are you Santa Claus? )

Well, that's why it I mentioned that it would work for any time period. I could just as easily do it every 10 years.

I don't know if I've explained this quite right. Every copy of me would be simultaneously available during that hour, because everyone would arrive at 7:00, and work until 8:00, at which point they would get in their respective time machine, and there would only be one "copy" (really a misnomer) left.

This would have a secondary benefit of allowing my earlier selves to collect the data, and having remembered doing that, my later selves could analyze and state the solutions.

Of course, critical to all of this is stopping my aging, but that's really not much of a problem when you've got time machine technology.

Marry White Raven and you'll be full of the stuff.
Now the real question here ((To White Raven)) is: hot or cold, and green, black, or white?

Since you don't have the experience to know, I'll ask you a question so you don't feel left out: Why does mainstream stuff suck? Do mainstream people suck that much, or is there an inverse, obverse, or logarithmic relation to mainstream suckrate per capita?

Ok, more seriously, I made this thread because I thought the results would be interesting, and so far they have been.

Mainstream people really do suck that much, I'm afraid.
By the way, what's an "antidevil"?

Because you're smarter than them.

then why do you answer them after they ask questions?
Because it's less fun to post questions without replies, and I want more questions.

Did you think that when you created this thread, that it would rival the "Scandally Dressed Women" thread in length?
No, I didn't.

As you should know from reading my holy book, the question and the answer are mutually exclusive. They can't exist in the same universe.

(preferably without the need to stop walking or to change shoes )
WD-40. This also has the positive side effect of waterproofing your shoes.

Actually, xzxzzx, why isn't the guide required reading in schools yet?
Everyone reads it at the time in their life at which point it is most applicable and useful. The guide is required reading, whether you know it or not.

I wasn't really planning on that, but I'm considering it.
