As I said before mine seem to be big work units. My PC at work has been left running since Friday (so I can check it when I go in tomorrow and see how it's doing), my PC at home should finish a WU early tomorrow (I've been turning it off for a few hours at night) and the server which I left running at work seems to have hung so might have wasted a weekend of processing on it.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he didn't think anyone else was really on the team. Hopefully when he gets back on he will change it to a different name more like what it used to be.

It usually takes some time to build up a large folding team on a forum, possibly even a year or so. Just hang in there and sneak folding in whenever you get a chance, put a link in your sig, etc, and the team will grow slowly, but steadily.

I was talking about the second, but now I am curious, what's the difference between the 400 and 100 wu load? Are there any other sizes (or whatever they are?)

yeah...its weird...on one comp i got a 400(worth ~230) on another i have 1000(~240), and on my crappiest comp i got 10000(~27 ???)...but on the last it does chunks at a time...so i got no clue how they decide.

Ahh, I haven't submitted a single workload, I have mostly no free time to let folding stay on.

Alex Jones: Do you want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? What a bunch of garbage; liberal democrat, conservative, republican. It's all there to control you! Two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control, the CEO job of Slavery, Incorporated! The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. I'm sick of it, and I'm not going to take a bite out of it, do you got me?

What doyou mean let folding stay on myxomatosis??? Do you use your comp all the time or something??? Folding will run in the background if you just leave it on and it won't affect performance of other apps. Just load it up at boot and let it run in teh background and I guarantee you that you will get some stuff done. How long do you leave your comp on each day?

A simple question: who owns the results?
Are they going to patent everything they discover? So the results will cost many money and the only person on this world to benefit from it will be rich people... If i share my cpu (and consume it, for how little it can seem), and if the results of the research are contributed by many people, I would like their discoveries will not be patented or closed.
Anyone can answer?

I downloaded the command line version on my other computer, so that's one grapic, and one command line. as soon as this computer get's done, i'll start the command line version on it as well (since I assume it's faster)

That's correct, command line version is the fastest. I don;t have any statistics to say how much faster, but I would venture a guess of at leats 10%.
