Roughly a third of the world claims Christianity, about a third of the World has heard some form of the Gospel and isn't Christian, and about a third of the world has never heard the Gospel.

Yes and No. I'm saying that the literal Law has been replaced (it was only ever intended for Jews), but the meaning behind the Law (grace) is still relevent.

Sorry if I quoted too much before, but here it is
Acts 15:
"28It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality."
Galatians also works.

The Trinity is not in the Bible, it is a theory of how God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the same thing, yet different at the same time.

^I don't know the verse, but Jesus was asked which of the laws was the greatest. He responded there are two laws: Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.

Yes. They contradict such that almost anybody can back up almost any point of view with a text that all christians hold as the truth.

You may be smart enough to understand how to interpret which one is right, but buddy, there are one hell of a lot of idiots out there.

And people are all like OMG JESUS DYED 4 MAI SINS!1111! Why don't you tell them to not take it literally?

And also, it is said that through the blood of Christ, man's sins would be forgiven/absolved, I forget the terminology. It's clearly said. But my point is... How can one man's blood possibly hope to be adequate to the billions of people murdered, raped, etc since his time?

Yes, it was Jesus yes the great Jesus... But even the great Jesus, in my eyes, his sacrifice does not absolve the horrific crimes done in the Holocaust, in the countless wars, Iraq, what's happening on the streets today.

To me, it just doesn't seem 'worth' all that.
I'm sorry for yelling at you, hun. I just tend to become quite ccontroversial when it comes to certain topics (such as religion, politics, aborion, etc. ) And yes, you do make a point, but like someone else already said, Jesus died only to forgive the sins of those who are his true followers, therefore meaning that it is still up to the individual to ask the lord for forgiveness. Therefore you might ask "Then he really didn't die for all our sins, now did he? So what was the point of him dying for us?". The answer to that is, had Jesus not died for people's sins, then everyone, including his followers were going to hell (because even them were full of sin at the time; one of his apostles even betrayed him), and that's because at that time, the world was filled with corrupted souls then and just about everyone at that time was filled with evil and would go to hell, had jesus not died and gave the people a chance to make themselves holy again and go to heaven.

This is a sig of some nature.

So...Does anyone here actually have any knowledge in the Lords Word..I see afew that have obviously studied and have some knowledge regarding and supporting the theological aspects of it....

But many of the remarks here..The negative ones..

Have any of those folks actually read into the theological aspects they seem to know so much about..Or even read the Word..Or is this pretty much all supposition and hearsay..Brought on by years of listening to it from others..??

Ah Ok...

Well it would be this Word...

John:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

I just wonder how so many opinions can come from so many people who have never actually studied this subject..

I'm glad my teen daughters have enough common sense to actually study a text or review a book before doing a recital on said project..I guess that's why they do so well in the achievements..They actually know what they are talking about..

Anyways..I'm out of this one folks..Too much highly rated intellect here for the likes of me...

I somehow feel Lost!! LOL!!

Ya'll Enjoy Though!!

that's why i never claim to know everything the bible say or anything to that extent. instead i only talk about that which I have looked at, and as a result, I have come to the conclusion that the bible should not be taken literally. I believe you agree.

Well Germ...Once again you have to get someone to help yank your foot out of your mouth,,LOL!!

Number One: I can tell by your answers, you have never read the bible..

Number Two: I actually have no opine on the Word..I merely quote it..

Number Three: I have absolutely no reason to make others look wrong, they do that all by themselves..

Number Four: It's not my bullshit..I didn't write it.. LOL!!

Number Five: If you think I'm trying to sell something..You couldn't be more out of touch with reality..I don't care what you do, or where you do it..

Don't go thinking I'm one of these Christians who is trying to help your sorry ass, or could even care less about a Little Fella like you.. LOL!! Because..I'm Not...

PS: Although, I do so allow giving you the opportunity to give me and the many others who are here with me, the enjoyment of having a great laugh..Where should we send the cheque??

Well..As I said before, depending on the faith/denomination of someones personal choice of worship..Will also determine the validity of the literal aspect.

Many do take it literally, many don't..I don't think I'm the one to judge whether they are right or wrong.
