Classic Spectrum Analyzer

Dear Winamp Forums,

I have downloaded the Classic Spectrum Analyzer. At first, it had worked for several months, then all of a sudden, each time I tried to activate or configure it, it causes my Winamp to crash. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to try and clear the problem, but it persists.

Is it possible to troubleshoot this visualizer please? I would like to use it.

You'll have to provide a bit more detail. It works fine for me in v5.666 on win10 with the Bento skin.

have tried updating, and manually removing and adding the plug-in.

any suggestions?

I'm happy to report that the Classic Spectrum Analyzer currently offered on Winampheritage is working in 5.9 RC4. If you screw around too much with the configuration, including spending too much time going back and forth between the profiles, the preferences panel will freeze up on you. As long as you don't push it, it seems to work well otherwise.

I know that others wouldn't consider this "working well" but for the moment, I'll take it. I don't know if this is v2.0.10 offered in WACUP.

Anyway, the version in WACUP is 2.1.2 and it has been modified to work better with the WACUP core that replaced the winamp v5.666.3516 core.

Perhaps, but that version doesn't work with 5.9. I'm reporting on what works in 5.9, not WACUP.
