Winamp System Components Paths

I don't have a "C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\Components" folder in my configuration. What causes this folder to be created and which files are stored there?

The only file which gets saved to the Components subdir is ssdp.w6c
which is installed alongside Portable Wifi (pmp_wifi) support.

Thanx for the info. This dinosaur is still using wired connections mostly, with the occasional nod to RF and Bluetooth.

I didn't like the speed and security with early WiFi. I know both areas have improved, but I still don't have a real need for it.
