how to play ogg files

From the vorbis website (http://www.vorbis.com/setup_windows/) I learn that winamp plays ogg files by default.
There is no info telling me to install any additional codecs on my windows system first so I installed winamp but cannot play any ogg files, neither those downloaded from their website nor the ones I myself encode via oggenc.
The title gets shown in the playlist with a length of 0:00 and that's it.
Do I have to enable ogg via some plugin or did the guys from the vorbis site miss to provide info on having to install any system-codecs first?
See my winamp log attached, thanks.

You don't seem to have the vorbis plugin installed.

Rerun the installer and make sure "OGG Vorbis Playback" is checked under Multimedia Engine -> Audio Playback.
You'll be good to go then.
