oh why does the format converter miss some files when converting?

I have all my CDs ripped to .flac, and thought it would be great to make a copy of them all in nice small .wma format(I don't have pro version, so no .mp3) so that I could play them on my mp3 player and laptop (my secondary computer which has small hard drive) for listening in the car etc.

This all does along nicely, I select every file in the winamp library and send them off to the converter. Settings are attached.

My first impression is that it all goes well, a couple of hours later I have a ton of new folders with .wma files in them. Winamp didn't tell me that any of the files failed. Great!

A few days later I realised that many albums are missing, and were never converted at all. I tried it again and the same thing happened with similar files missing. The correct number of files is appearing when the Format Converter gets to work.

Does anybody know why this is happening? I hope it is a simple fix that I have missed somehow.
