License on NDE api

Hello,

I want to make a Songbird ( http://www.getsongbird.com ) plugin for Importing / Exporting libraries to/from songbird from/to winamp.

Can I use the NDE from the winamp SDK to write my plugin?

without checking their licensing i believe it should be ok as the nde license is a bsd/zlib style license.
