[near-rage/]
I just spent 3 days working on and finally finishing the animated GIF thumbnail frame-by-frame in MS-Paint for my embedded art plugin just like I did all my other plugins that I've submitted. Always 275x116 always. It took me less time to add localization support to it than it did to make the thumbnail. So please imagine and sympathize with my rage when I discovered that the Add-Ons submission page is blocking my 275x116 standard sized animated gif thumbnail. I noticed that the latest added plugins have the 275x116 size. No plugins have the new restricted sizes. Was this recently done? On purpose? If so why? Also if so, can an exception be made for me? If not, why? |

no idea other than i know no one has touched anything directly with the submission stuff in a long time. though not sure where you're getting 275x116 from when that's not mentioned on the page. other than trying something else, i'd just forget about trying to submit things to the site if it's borked (as shit like this has gone on for years where it randomly breaks and i've zero-faith in the process).

I don't get it. My previous thumbnail project files show 275x116 for the plugins I've submitted before. It's the same dimensions as the Classic Skin main window dimensions. Both of these things leads me to believe the system was accepting 275x116 before. If it's always been 178x75 then maybe it's been resizing before and now that function no longer works?
So confused... ![]() |
