Winamp Guru Meditation Issues
I recently decided to re-install winamp after years of staying away from it. Yay for me!
Unfortunately, I appear to be running into a stubborn problem. If I try to switch from the Classic Skin to any other skin that comes with the install (Bento, modern winamp), I get a guru meditation complaining about a null object called in "scripts/menualign.maki" (or, in Bento, "mainmenu.maki"). Skins that are downloadable work. I'm running Winamp 5.572 in Windows 7 64-bit on a laptop. Any ideas on how to fix this? EDIT :: If it helps, here's a dump of my guru.log... http://www.pastebin.org/357009 Last edited by Eolk; 24th June 2010 at 21:38. |

After extensive Googling, I happened upon this thread: http://forums.shoutcast.com/showthre...hreadid=315673
And guess what? The winamp shortcut was set to compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 2! I have turned off compatibility mode, and everything appears to be working fine, now. |
