Have you ever purchased Winamp before?

The question is simple. Have you ever purchased Winamp?

Thanks for your wasted time . . .

AOL ruins yet another great product . . .

NOTE: I'm not gonna read the replies to this. Just thought I'd say that.

Umm, how has AOL ruined Winamp?
Backup your statement after doing some research first.

But hey, if you're not gonna read replies, why did you even bother to post such utter bullshit in the first place?

For fucks sake.

Well, on thinking about it, you are right. Winamp is complete and utter shit now. I installed 5.0 and it installed right over my earlier version, and I just started /using/ it! What kinda shit is that. Not only that but I didn't see a difference in it while in classic skin 'til I opened the preferences! God, I can't believe AOL corrupted Nullsoft.

For the less perceptive, yes, that was sarcasm gentlemen.

I will probably buy Pro to support Nullsoft. But after Christmas when my bank balance is healthier.

Yup, you must have wasted one or two minutes :P

Might suggest a hobby instead of trolling forums.

Anyways, I have never purchased Winamp, although I plan on getting Pro sometime when I actually have money. I don't even have a $0.01 right now. So when I give my $0.02, remember that I am using that fake money you can buy at the dollar store.

This is a joke, right? FFS people...it's only FIFTEEN dollars. Unless yer starving to death in a third world country, you can afford this. Even if yer living in a cardboard box in an alley, you can panhandle enough money to buy Pro. Note, I said buy PRO.

Winamp is still free...this is why Nullsoft doesn't have to honor the agreement in the older versions...because the features you pay for were not in previous versions except by plugins which didn't work very well in my experience. you don't want a feature? don't install it.

you are paying for mp3 encoding and cd burning. You don't want those? don't install them. you want free...go crack Nero, it sucks anyways. or stick with whatever bloated POS you're using now.

The best media player has just gotten better. Shit can't be free forever.

You forgot about the exchange rates in other countries, and the fact that some people don't have a creditcard or whatnot.

Also, I wonder how many people using Pro here actually paid for the version, and how many people downloaded a crack.

I don't have a credit card either...it's not that hard to find someone willing to put $15 U.S. on a credit card for you...that's what I did (well, after downloading a keygen to see if I wanted to buy </ducks>)

it's very simple, not thst people can't afford it, everyone wants a piece of the pie but they don't want to pay for it.

I used MMJB for a few months, it never ripped right, always left this annoying popping sound in my mp3's.

I've been using Mediasource for ripping lately and it works, other than not using track numbers.

Winamp is, by far, better than any program I've used in years and worth every penny for Pro...USD or otherwise.

Same here, but I'm waiting until after Chanakkah . I bought it before when it was shareware. 1.x, I think. It was a long time ago.

I plan to buy pro just to support Nullsoft. I don't really need any of the features that it provides, but it might be more convenient to have it all in one place.
