Media Library keeps transcoding FLAC while transfering to supporting device
Dear Reader,
I have Winamp Pro for Android and despite I've added "flac" to the supported formats list in settings (using the correct syntax ofc), Winamp (most recent desktop version) keeps transcoding FLAC files upon transfer. Is it a bug or am I missing smth? |

Hi
So you're sync'ing/transferring in usb mode, and you've added ;flac to the Supported Formats list via: Winamp > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Media Library > Portables > Android Drive X: > Advanced tab? Have you maybe also checkmarked "Force transcoding of compatible tracks if bitrate is over x kbps" or "Force transcoding of compatible lossless tracks" under: Winamp > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Media Library > Portables > Android Drive X: > Transcoding tab > Advanced Settings? If yes, then you will need to uncheck those... If no, then I'm not rightly sure.... it should be working.... |

Thanks for the reply! Unchecking "Enable transcoding of incompatible tracks" option helped!
