Latest version and Pandora?
I just downloaded the latest version along with BrowserAmp.
They work nicely together... My question is about the Pandora Hacks... I want to enable Pandora, but all of the Hacks mention ML_Online.ini as where the Hacks go... but I can't find any such directory ??? I use WinAmp and BrowserAmp to play music all over the house under control of an Ipad, and it would be nice to be able to add Pandora to the list of things we can play... (maybe someday you can add Sirius or XM radio) |

Hi rsisson,
'ML_Online.ini' is a configuration file, not a directory/folder. It's location depends of the version of Windows you are using. Use Windows search function to find it. It is a text file, you can use notepad to open and edit it. Close WA before you make any changes to a configuration file. Make a copy of the original file in case your hacks don't work and you need to return the file's contents to what it was. Windows 10 Home 64-bit v20H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |

Thats what is confusing. WinAmp is running fine, but I can't find any ML-Online.ini file, or even the ML sub directory. I can find /programfiles/Winamp/Addons/ but then...no ML...
thoughts? |

%appdata%\Winamp\Plugins\ml\ml_online.ini (assuming ml_online aka the Online Services plug-in was even installed).

Note: Pandora will not be playing through Winamp. The Online Services is basically an embedded Internet Explorer session and playback is done through Pandora’s web player.

Browseramp is just a remote control? If so, i think it would work, its just that winamp isn't itself playing the stream, but rather an app inside it. I could be wrong.

Browseramp is a remote control for Winamp. However, I am not sure if that approach will work or not for Pandora.

Hi rsisson,
I know nothing about the hacks you mentioned and thus don't know if they will work or not, but the bigger question for me is why you don't have the "ml_online.ini" file. I have this file and I don't use the Online Services, nor do I have the "ml_online.dll" file installed. My "ml_online.ini" file even gets updated from time to time. Why this happens, I don't know if it needs the "ml_online.dll" file installed in order for WA to use it. My file contains the following data and I don't know what it all means, but some of it must have come from my WA preferences. [ml_online_config] maxbandwidth=350 minbandwidth=1 radio_upd_freq=3 osAdultFilter=0 [Navigation] [Setup] featuredHistory=222150,222427,222509,222542 How about posting a 'One for Nunz' report of your configuration. http://nunzioweb.com/daz/14nunz.html Windows 10 Home 64-bit v20H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |

Solution for v5.x
For Vista and Win7 find your Online Services directory. It should be located here:
C:\Users\<INSERT YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Winamp\Plugins\ml\omServices Copy an example file to start with, say omService_{0000010100}.ini and name it:
Inside of the file make it look like this: [OnlineService]Good luck! |
