Movies?

Anyone know of any movies worth buying? I'm very bored with the amount of movies I've got now.

No, I do no know of any movies worth buying (this includes renting). Do people still do that sort of thing anymore, paying for media?

Anyway, I watched "Waking Life" a few days ago and I really liked it. You might give that a shot.

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
I'll be waiting, and shall see you on the other side...

If you're into half-assed shitty quality downloaded bootlegs, then yeah, people still buy stuff...

Netflix, then rip the DVD.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.

^still trying to figure out your sig - both parts

most pirate-video quality sucks bad enough that I'd rather pay to rent - I like krock's suggestion, but sadly I'd need a pm to explain a trustworthy way to have a 'backup' of viewed video.

Don't forget to live before you die.

I dunno I've found with a lot of movies that I've "bought" the quality was pretty good. I mean like I'm not looking for high def or anything.

I second that recommendation. It's quite educational. (Well it educated me, at least.) Pay special attention to the two, seperate "whispers". Very powerful, and very relevant.

I tried to avoid making it too obscure, but I probably failed at that.

WALL-E
Serenity
What Dreams May Come
Monty Python's Life of Brian & Holy Grail
Fight Club
Lord of War
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Irreversible (its Russian, iirc)
Secret Window
Der Untergang (Downfall)
Network
Oldboy
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Sympathy for Mrs. Vengeance
Samurai 7

These are all movies I enjoy quite a lot. Some are more sick and twisted than others.

Crazy cyberpunks and their cryptic ways of speaking!

That, and he's referencing something from this

I like older movies, so these may not be your cup of tea, but I enjoy them.

Papillon and The Sand Pebbles are two great movies.

I love American Psycho, and last I saw it was on Amazon for $4.99! Not a bad deal for a great movie.
