As well as the one in the background of the bottom right picture.
One of those I wanted to get was backordered when I placed my order for the ones pictured above. It was listed as "low stock" yesterday, so I put an order in for it:

The character, Mr. 2 / Bon Clay, is fruity as hell (even sings a song called "Oh Come My Way", which is a play on "Okama Way". Okama = gay person/male transvestite.) but is awesome, plus I liked the pvc model. And yes, the two swans detach from his back and can be fitted on his feet, as they do in the manga/anime.

Also, better pictures of the Robin model I got for a buddy of mine. I'll eventually get my own:

Even with gas prices the way they are ($3.49 here, last time I checked), it still only costs me less than $35 to fill up, and I can go 300+ miles on that.

LUCKY!! Although I have very fuel efficient vehicles for their engine size and age, they're still 3.0 V6 (25-28 mpg car) and 4.7 V8 (15-20 mpg truck).

One fill-up for both combined can easily cost well over $150 at the $3.799 price/gal., but they both get well over 400 miles per tank.

[edit]Oh, that picture also reminds me; I also bought a bottle of that Meguiar's quick detailer spray wax...

Shit sure works good, and it cuts down on the waxing time by 3/4ths over conventional waxing, giving me more drinking time after I'm done washing/waxing the Mustang... [/edit]

For me, conventional waxing takes almost all day, and now you've just reminded me that I haven't done it this year yet. Thanks a lot; you've just ruined my beloved lounging and laziness.

It looks like you did a good job though; wanna come over and shine up my truck?

Sure; In exchange for cash or "favors"...

My car was overdue for once, since I think the last time I even gave it a good wash was before the January accident, and then even longer since the last wax because of the cold weather...

Anyway, I got myself a pair of proper footwear...

Another good ol' pair of Condor desert combat boots... My first pair was getting pretty dirtier because I've been wearing them to work, so I'm gonna use my old pair solely as my work boots...

I think he likes his wheels, but he probably thinks metal silver is a cliché color, since almost everyone runs that color...

I ordered my truck with the basic steel wheels for a few reasons: 1) They're inexpensive to replace if they ever get damaged. 2) If they ever get damaged, they're much more likely to bend and buckle than aluminum wheels, thus making it more likely that I won't get a bent drive axle if I hit a curb or something (which happened with my S10 a number of years ago). 3) They don't look as goofy as all of the aluminum wheels that are offered on the Colorados with the higher trim level packages.

Granted, the plastic center caps on the steel wheels DO look goofy, that's easily remedied by removing them. What I plan on doing is taking all the wheels off my truck, cleaning them, sanding them, painting them, and reinstalling them with the new lug nuts that I just bought this evening. Once I burn off these stock tires (205/75R15s that look like bicycle tires), I'll put a good set of BFGoodrich Radial T/A 245/60R15s on them. I think my truck will look pretty sharp after that.

So... last purchased:

Two sets of Dorman M12-1.50 chrome lug nuts (part # 711-345). I had to buy two sets because only 20 come in a pack, and my truck needs 24 lug nuts. :P At least I'll have spares.

After a few trips to the tire shop, you'll be glad you have the extras. Sometimes the top of the nut breaks off, and those air guns really hack the nuts up, to the point where you might see one that you want to replace.

I once did the same job you describe on an old Volvo. Worked out much better than expected.

As long as you have the right supplies, the space to do the work, and the patience, it's actually not a difficult job. It's just time-consuming.

Also, the Mustang looks good, MnV88.

[edit]
Forgot to mention than the lug nuts that I just bought aren't normal lug nuts. They're pass-through style that use a large torx bit (either a T-55 or a T-60) for removal/installation. I'm not going to let any tire shops mess with them. When I need to get new tires, I'm going to take the wheels off my Colorado myself and take them to the tire shop in my S10 to be replaced.

Very good idea. It's pretty well known that the rookies of the shops always get thrown on tire duty. Many don't inflate to the right pressure; many don't tighten the lug nuts enough or they go too far and break a lug, etc. I always drive my vehicle slowly to a parking lot just out of view of the shop to check those things before doing any regular or serious driving.

Although steel stock wheels don't get stolen often, I could see torx fittings as wheel locks in a sense. I would guess the average wheel thief would not think to carry torx sockets around when looking for wheels.

I have no problems with steel wheels. I think they're safer on vehicles with a lot of miles. The aluminum somehow becomes brittle and I've seen cracks and even chunks break off if you fishtail in snow into a curb or something like that, whereas the steel would just bend.

Don't forget to live before you die.

Ugh

That reminds me, the 10-holes on my Mustang are aluminum...I didn't mention the purchase in this thread, but I had to buy a new wheel because of that...

Back in February or March when it snowed, I went around a curb, lost traction, did a stupid panic move by turning my wheel completely to the other lock (Which is bizzare when I've been able to correct myself from unintentional wet powerslide, once even when I was doing about 65-70 on the highway nearly losing control), and I just smacked the rim of my wheel into the curb...Part of the rim broke during impact and bent inwards, pinched the tube of my tire, and gave me a slow leak (Which I luckily noticed during a gas station stop, before I embarked 20 highway miles across Louisville)...Nothing I could take pliers to in order to fix...Had to ride the dummy tire while scouting salvage yards to get myself a new replacement wheel...Found one that I bought for $100, and I sold my old wheel as scrap for money back...

That suuuucked...

My Bon Clay came in and damn it's huge...

Two others came into low stock, so I got my orders in for these two:

They should all be around 10" tall. Bon Clay is a bit shorter due to his stance, though.

Nice ticket... except... where's mine?

Last Bought:
a gallon of nacho cheese sauce
a pound of extra lean ground chuck
a pile of jalapenos
a pair of large red onions
a few tomatoes

(for a really good meat & salsa nacho cheese sauce)

just clean and chop all the vegetables, add spices, brown & strain the meat, and combine with the nacho cheese in a crock pot. Heat and mix until well warmed. Dip anything you want into it and eat. Then lick your fingers.

(I bought a ton of other more boring groceries too)

The parts for my latest gaming hardware creation...

-- Intel Core2Quad Q6600 (SLACR, G0 Stepping) OCed to 3.3 GHz (9x multiplier, 367MHz FSB) on stock air cooling + Arctic Silver Céramique thermal compound
-- 4GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066MHz PC2-8500 C5
-- PNY XLR8 Performance Edition GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB GDDR3 (Core/Shaders/Memory: 500/1200/1600MHz OCed to 625/1600/2000MHz)
-- Sound Blaster Audigy SE (PCI)
-- Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP P35/ICH9R LGA775 system board
-- Thermaltake Damier V6000+ Chassis (DON'T buy this - it's a great quality box overall, but it's got WAY too many wires for fan control and other crap to really do a clean build, and detailed wiring instructions are few and far between. There are just too many other great cases out there with many fewer cables. For the next machine I'm using either a Lexa Blackline or an Antec Nine Hundred.)
-- Hiper 4M630 SLI-Ready 630-watt PSU (a very good PSU, but I'm going modular from now on.)
-- WD Caviar 500GB 7200rpm SATA300 HDD
-- LiteOn LH-20A1S CD/DVD/Dual Layer Multi-Writer (SATA)
-- MS Windows Vista Ultimate x64

I wish Microsoft would raise the WEI scoring limit as they say they're going to periodically. Scoring 5.9 on everything isn't revealing of a machine's true capabilities, as any decent modern gaming platform scores at that level or something very close to it.

Oh, I also bought myself a vanilla milkshake from McDonald's yesterday. Woohoo!

D-Link wireless router $40

SBLive external sound card $50
new battery for laptop $120
USB/firewire pc card $20
Battlestar Galactica season 1 $50
AC/DC - Back in Black $8

Taco Bell $12

Overall I know I've spent well over $500. I'm nearly broke again but I'm cool with that.
