sc_trans crashed.
At church today I decided to use my laptop as a private SHOUTcast server to get the audio from a new building that we did a dedication for to the main auditorium for contiguous recording (we record both audio and video at the main auditorium.) For some reason I can't remember at the moment I decided that I needed to restart the sc_dsp connection to the Transcoder instance. When I disconnected my v2 dj sc_trans crashed. I've seen it before but I thought it was just a one-time fluke. I had to restart the sc_trans service after telling Windows not to send the error report (to get sc_trans to start faster.)

Attaching my sc_trans log (not much there since it looks like it didn't get a chance to record the error/exception.) Microsoft Windows XP Home All updates installed. If you want more info I can provide. Odd thing is, I set a backup file in sc_trans for in-case something like that happened so that the client connection in the main auditorium wouldn't drop, but it did. |

was there anything in the sc_trans log file (which i'm not seeing as being attached) when it happened as it's strange to see the Windows version crash when it's more likely the linux one to segfault on things.

wth, i know I attached it. I even saw it on the attachments list.
...forums...New attachment including sc_serv log and config files and the DeadAir file I was using as the backup and playlist entry file. What isn't strange is that it's the msvcr90.dll that generated the exception according to Windows. I'm gonna double check to make sure it's not corrupted or something in a bit. |

Crapiola, can't find a download for the version of msvcr90.dll that sc_trans was reported as using so I'll just upload it so you can test it.
Attached (hopefully.) |
