"Year" field of Id3 tags not being read

Winamp seems to be ignoring the "Year" field in all of my mp3s. Everything else is fine, but with large collections of artists, it'd be nice to order the album covers by release date. I've double checked both my tagging in MediaMonkey and then by right clicking the file itself in Windows Explorer and looking at the Details tab. In both places the Year is properly reported yet Winamp seems to be ignoring it entirely.

Is it something there something I'm doing wrong? I have the latest versions of Winamp, Media Monkey, and Windows 7 Ultimate. Everything else seems to be running tip top =\
