Window XP SP2 + winamp 5.0x = sound output problem?

What happens on my computer and speaker system?

I use realtek audio chipset and Creative 5.1 speakers system. I use real one player and window media player to play music with 5.1 channel, but Winamp 5.0x (i tried 8 and 9) with 2.1 channel. Since i am a Winamp's fan, i don't like use other player to play audio files, i check all the setting of audio output.

I think the problem is mainly caused by the setting of sound effect. Let see the picture below:

I am sorry my windows langauge is traditional chinese. I found that the setting of effect(i don't know the english name) is blank (nothing).
After i change the setting to Windows default, all problems are solved. I sure that i haven't made any change on sound setting, but i don't know the audio driver or other media player will change this setting or not.

When I solved the problem and Winamp can play audio files with 5.1 channel, I also have a interesting discovery. The sound quality is better than I didn't set effect.
