no disk in drive! (can't add media to library)

I just up-graded to pro. After installing the upload, i get this message from windows--No Disk in Drive. Next I notice that none of my audio files were retained. After attempting to add files, as I was prompted to do, nothing happened. I have tried un-installing/installing winamp a couple times, to the same result. Now I'm very frustrated (feel like I just should'nt have gone pro--
