These are the three latest skins I am developing.

From top to bottom:

AlphaTech - Experiment
Tevion - Slick Series Replacement
Jade - An Old Skin Being Redeveloped

What do you think which one should move forward and which is a waste of time?

I like Tevian. I don't like the new direction you're taking AlphaTech in. I liked the cog and lightening. Jade could be interesting.

I kind of like tevion...but If I were you I'd spend more time on a particular skin (as opposed to several projects at the same time) just my .02

Yes, I do...with originally over 20G of mp3 music I used wma to compress them all. About 1/2 the same file size.

Anyways, I'm actually spending a lot of time on ea. And cycling back and forth between each when my boredom with one catches up to me.

AlphaTech
I have changed to be standard metal background, and producing the volume.bar as a metal slider. The balance bar will not be included in the final release.

Tevion
Clearly its got some distance to go before it is worth releasing but, it is fun to do.

Jade
Jade was originally made back in 98 just after I released ice fusion. It was at the time just a pipe dream and now, I am redeveloping it. The overall effect at the moment is decent but, to cluttered a look and will have to be changed to span all the elements out a bit more. However, the cbutton row will likely remain the same as I like that effect.

Just Kidding...I will show it here soon...I just got to get rid of my repeated elements (From Main to Eq)...and the wshades (god I hate them).

Well, I don't like them because I can never make them as original in thought and function as the main's. Ah well, something to keep me away from the submission. I guess I am at that point in the skinning process where just making the mains blend well becomes the question.

Joe is using PNG format images, the best way to see images on the web

, it might be that you are using a browser that dosn't support .png files, check HERE for a list of png suported browsers

I am moving on the eq of both Tevion and Devour.

Jade is something That is drawing my mind away from them to give me a fresh start somewhere when I'm needing it.

I'm not sure How I will incorporate the eq on Devour but, as soon as I get more done with it I will post. The name Devour is really split like this (Dev)eloped by (Our) Skin love forum.

If you do not want your name in the readme please tell me now.

As you can see I have moved through the rest pretty fast...but, I am running into an issue as you can see above with the ss on the pledit...the texture I'm using is causing a 1x14 pixel repeat...I'm trying to come up with something that will look good and repeat well, without losing the grace of the rest of the skin. I know the eq looks plain but, I think it is good the way it is...(although, I will add the +20 0 -20).

The Pledit still has also to get its clicked states and the textual for the bg.

Anyways that is my status...

Thought to give you guys a visual.
