Trance equalizer settings

Which are the right settings for trance music in my equalizer or where can I download them?

equalization is a subjective thing, so you can try yourself with different settings to find the better result (to your ears)

it's a different matter the equalization to compensate some distortions\artifacts\frequency response (requires some particular hardware and\or knowledge)

by the way the name of equalization settings can be misleading (i.e. a setting called disco could be ok also for the reggae)

so... experiment yourself

a guide for the compensation

bye

Also, from TSGH > Equalizer Q&A Guide...
Q: Where can I find more presets? Where can I find presets for other genres?

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Most good sound cards have more precise eq's than the ones you find on media players. If you really want to change/adjust what highly trained audio engineers have mastered your music to be, try your sound card's eq for best results if you have a card that'll do it. They allow for you to save the presets too, which is also a good plus.
