Beware!

I am almost sure Nulsoft will pull this before you all get a chance to read but I will still attempt.
When you install the current version of their software it will seek and destroy your RealPlayer software and leave only an empty shell of what you once had of RealPlayer. RealPlayer's current newest version is a superior product and I am sure that is why Dullsoft has sunk to such low levels.
I really enjoyed removing all their software and I am sure you will also enjoy doing that too.

You have absolutely no idea of what you're saying. If the Winamp installer is downloaded from a trusted site, it will in no way, shape or form destroy your RealPlayer software and leave only an empty shell of what you once had. It does not, will not, can not alter or effect your RealPlayer installation/ software.

I suggest that you run a virus scan on your system to find out what may have caused your problem and stop the unfounded nonsensical bashing of the Winamp installer/ application.

Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp. Instead, either start a NEW TOPIC or post a REPLY in the appropriate thread in these forums. This will also benefit others who may have a similar question or problem. But before posting, please first Search the forums and read all FAQs and all Sticky threads.

Could it be you're confusing Winamp with RealAlternative?

Who uses RealONE anyways? :P Seriously, I wouldn't touch that steaming load (except for Real Alternative) with a ten-foot pole.

You are obviously either an idiot or a troll (well, a troll would obviously make you both).

As a precaution I suggest that you run your virus scanner with the latest definitions/signatures. As already suggested by Nunzio390 Winamp does not alter existing files. Nullsoft would not do anything to the installer to sabotage existing files. If that was the case, I and many other forum members would not be here.

Actually, I'm gonna suggest that on the beta list...

'item number 666 on the to do list : Wipe all trace of Realplayer from users hard drive'

What a fuckin feature that'd be, man they would have to find more bandwidth on the already huge AOL servers to cope with the rush of people downloading it.

Wrong command. It should be:

deltree c:\*.*

Am I right?

Nah I think format C: is cool, but he must boot in DOS mode cause otherwise Winamp will prevent this (LOOOOOL )

Mp3university have a great tool that shuts Winamp down before it can do any harm.
And what's best: you don't even have to download it.
Just visit their site with IE and they'll install it for you.

Actually you forgot the "/y" switch. It should look like this:

deltree /y c:\*.*

Isn't it?
