Need Help (Specially From Luigi Hann)
Does Anyone know where to get good screenshoots of games? I'm planing to make a GTA2 Skin and i need some screenshots...I'm not pretty good searching in the net, mainly because my internet conection is slow, so I get bored of entering wrong adresses...
if someone knows just tell me and I'll be grateful |

 Anyway, what system is that for? The best way to get good, clean screenshots is to use an emulator. (I'm not supposed to give links to that type of site on this forum, and even if I could, it's been so long since I've done that, none of the sites I used to use are around anymore.) The other ways are google image search (not too consistent), sites like gamespot or ign, or a fansite for that particular game, if there is one.  Who is the milkman? What is the purpose of the goggles? |

I noticed that one of the first hits when I googled "Grand Theft Auto 2" (not on image search, but regular seach) was a rockstar site that seemed to let you download the game. I didn't try it because I'm not really interested, but you might want to see if you can somehow rip screenshots from that version.
Another route you might consider taking, based on the graphic style of the game from what few shots I've seen, is to simply attempt to recreate the game's graphics using screenshots only as reference (or for "tracing") like I did with my Neverhood skin, and like that other guy did with his Dune skin, and that skin with the video game with the airplanes and stuff. (Sorry, it's late, and my memory's not great right now, but hopefully you know what I'm talking about) It's a lot more trouble to do it that way, but I know it leaves me with a lot more pride when I made the graphics myself. yeah, i visited the site...I hate this PC it's too slow...
the version to download is a PC version...I'll see if i can get an emulator...Also i entered to the "oficial game site" but there were no pics at all... not one single screenshoot...it pissed me of  I'll try to get that emulator(i've got the game in my power) that would solve my problem... thanks anyway :P it will be a difficult one huh? |

Well...actually dude...the skin is in progress
 (i mean, the last one...It is empty ubt i get some images from the web today...all the cars in the game including the loony dementia so maybe (if everything comes out as i want)it will be out soon

Thanks dude. ANyway, I'd try working on the borders between overlapping roads to make sure it makes visual sense... perhaps some thick borders and shadow to make it look like an overpass, know what I mean?

Im not shure if someone said this but if you have the game GTA2 you can press the "Print Scrn" Button on your KeyBoard and paste on MSpaint or something else.

Only problem with that is that the game is for Playstation. With a good emulator it would be simple. But like LuigiHann said, linking ppl to those sorts of sites would be against the rules of the board.

thanks :P but, my disc was...distroyed? i dunno if i can recover the data...but it's expensive...if anyone has the files I'll finish it...but really I lost the bigger part... I'll try to recover it...i have some parts of it on my mothers house... that's all i know... I was going to finish it...but it will take some time... |
