You can't alpha blend over the top of componants just yet. You will be able to soon.

I thought alpha-blending over the avs would cost too much cpu?

alpha blending over componants (in general) should be in the next beta (don't quote me on that).

I thought that aswell, alpha-blending uses a huge amount allready.

Bizzy D.: Did you really meant an alphablending effect or did you wanted just another shape of 'avs' as the default rectangle?

Another shape I have already seen - I send you the skin when I have found it in my 90skins collection. It will take a bit time ..

bye

You can do wierd shaped avs windows with a couple of layer masks and a bit of a support script to help it run along.

I have this skin sort of started, the avs runs in the main window, with sliding draws over the play button area, and drop down draws for the thinger, but I warn you now, even on a really powerfull system it drags like a one legged horse, partly the reason why I shelved the skin, to CPU intensive, and that was before id added any functions to the rest of the skin.

I can hook you up with a simple demo skin and script if this is what you are looking for.
