Easy to get rid of as I've suffered this same drama myself from time to time. Simply disable the adapter in your Device Manager.

To do this, right-click on My Computer and go to properties ...that or press CTRL+Pause/Break.

Go to hardware and then select Device Manager. Locate the Network Adapter and right click on it and select Disable.

This will stop the notification from coming through

i've never even had a sound card.. it's all been onboards stnadard for me.

I'm thinking of putting in a second. And have all soundcuts, etc on channel 4 in my mixer\soundcard 1 and all the music for the show on channel 5\soundcard2
