Write logfiles to a Microsoft Network share

Anyone knows if it is possible to write mountpoint (w3c) logs to a MS network share?

For example I'd like to log all listeners from a specific mountpoint for which I thought it would be nice to use a centralized storage share, because we will be having a lot of logs and shoutcast servernodes

Example:
Quote:
streamw3clog_1=\\10.0.80.241\ifs\sc2\broadcaster001\sc2-01.log

depends on the OS version and if the DNAS has permissions / access to write there. easiest way to know is to give it a go

Off course I tried and made sure permissions are okay but the fact I'm asking suggests it might be diisfunctional Anyways I solved it using a script which moves the logfiles every hour to a storage from where statistics are being generated.

Anyhow it might be a nice thing to try in future versions.

If you map the drive to a letter it may work then.

Mapped driveletters are unavailable whenever you are logged out, so in my opinion thats not an option..
