I make IO dialogs with NotePad.
Just copy the example ini file from Contrib\InstallOptions\* and edit the controls and possitions. I've never used any of the special editors, just good ol' NotePad. -Stu |

I don't know a tutorial for HM NIS itself but there is one by Lobo Lunar about InstallOptions in general.
There is no program to import/decompile compiled installers that I know of. NSIS FAQ | NSIS Home Page | Donate $ "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." -- Confucius |

If you talking about io.ini.....you can open it with HM NIS Edit.
And you can do what you want...no coffee Just file open and change the extension |

I like very much HM NIS for seeing the io.ini without compiling
