Hey guys,

If somebody is looking at this, I downloaded Winamp 5.8 from winamp.com, I have a plugin for Lyrics, but it doesn't work properly on 5.8, so is it possible to have Lyrics built-in for when 5.8 is ready for release?

Sorry to tell you, but there will be no official Winamp 5.8 release, all you're stuck with is Winamp 5.666 or the beta.
Chances are that the plugin is very old and due to the version changes and internal changes it won't load.
You can try to use it with Winamp 5.666 or with WACUP to see if that works for you.

I have Winamp 5.8 and I've got the lyrics to work OKish. I downloaded MiniLyrics. If that helps.

Are the MiniLyrics window graphics funky for you too? Also, is there a way to make it stop downloading/creating a text file of the lyrics for every song you play? I uncheck that box in the settings menu, and it still makes a new text file for every song--so irritating.
