Support Authentication, Please??

I have hung my collection of MP3s out on a web server so that I can listen to them from anywhere (most notibly, while at work). The problem is that in order to play them in Winamp, I have to leave the directory wide open to the public. My server is behind a DSL line, so I've got limited bandwidth. If other people start downloading from my share, I'll run out of bandwidth. If I could lock the directory down, I'd be so much happier.
