Sharing Winamp

Hi. Currently, I use Winamp for all my music. I have it downstairs on a server, and from that I run it upstairs to my stereo, with speakers throughout the house. Now, the only way I can control winamp (besides running downstairs to the server) is via a laptop on my wireless network, running pcanywhere to emulate the server.

This works well, but it's a bit clunky, and I'm always waiting for the screen on my laptop to refresh.

Is there anyway to just contol winamp from my laptop, and still have it use the soundcard from my server? I like having the freedom of using my wireless laptop, anywhere in the house, to control my music.

Any other thoughts?
