Winamp 58 beta crashing

Hi, folks.

I'm having a problem with the Winamp beta. It works fine if I log on as Compadmin, but if I log on as a user within a few minutes I get caught in a situation where I can't play any files, but the playlist shows highlighting cycling through the files displayed. And sometimes it crashes completely, too. This is whether I install as admin or as user. It may be pertinent that when I tried installing Wacup, I got a display indicating an installation error, and that my Appdata/Roaming/Wacup folder didn't have sufficient permissions to write . In Wacup, I was able to get around that by installing as "portable."

I don't remember if that's an option with Winamp, but it *could* be that there's a permission problem for users versus administrator.
