Problem with Color Change

Hello Community,

I try to create my own winamp skin but I'm having problems with two design elements.

1. Screenshot "Medienbibliothek" (Winamp Library)

You see the selected entry 4. I want to change the color of the white dots around the selected entry. I already tried changing Pixel 60 in genex.bmp (http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/For_Winamp_2.9/5.x) but it doesn't work. How do I change this? I know ít's possible, cause I have seen skins with changed color.

2. Screenshot "Einreihliste" (Queue Manager)

I want to change the Text-Color of the inactive / greyed out Buttons. I have not found any way to achieve this. I know ít's possible, cause I have seen skins with changed color.

Although your screenshot links are not working, my guess is that you are trying to edit the media library.

Somewhere on the gen or genex bitmap's you should find a line of separated pixels. These are what's used to edit most of the media library colours.

I changed every pixel mentioned in the other thread, but without success. Please find attached my genex.bmp and a screenshot of my media library. You can see the pink dots around the selected entry but there is no pink pixel in my genex.bmp. If I replace the genex.bmp with the original genex.bmp the dots are white.

Why are the dots pink?

I believe those pixels or part of the selection, are in fact inverted from whatever the background colour is.

I think it has to do with your windows theme and not the skin it's self. I can see why that would be annoying.

it is determined by the OS and it using what has been set for the colours of the item.
