Just a tease for now, I've been playing around with some new ideas. Getting away from the busy soft metals and trying to touch back on my old styleish mess type deal.

That's the point of WMC, you can use it...

i'd call it a modern skin as it's just a variation on the cPro idea of a common 'frame' which you basically replace the images for and there it's done.

Haha, you jest, I don't even install modern skin support these days, little point, for the few times I ever see winamp on screen I don't need modern skin support, been thinking about this recently, I mean, who actually has a player on screen these days? surely it's just click, play, minimise ? or something equally mundane?

I've just finished watching some downloaded avi files tonight, total playback time, about an hour thirty, winamp on screen just long enough for me to hit the full screen button and sit back and watch....

It's anarchy in the classic skins section, Jones has thrown the book out the window!

On a positive note... I always thought you were crazy for watching a show like "Doctor Who" I of course watched the 2005 version, thought I'd see what it was about... I'm now impatiently waiting the next episode of season 7... Though this current season/series feels a lot different from the previous seasons.

I've been watching since 1975 or so, I'm hardcore, to me it's the same show... looking forward to this year and the 50th anniversary in November....

Back on track... WMC? nah, classic version or nothing....

WMC - is a classic skin; sort of. I'd say it is the step between a framed ui and a modern skin. Essentially, all bmp's are png alpha supported and have xml modern skins.

So, perhaps a Classic Skin with the Modern Support???? At present it is highly tuned. It is worth a look if your interested. It isn't like CPRO at all; though there are some areas of overlap obv. ie replace the template graphics with your own and voila new skin. ~

As of right now there are 4 designers/developers building out the WMC/WCL Based Templates.

Nearly, everything is supported from classic skins. Not much needs to be done besides creating the graphics. Though, you will have to at least touch one xml file (for adjusting the colors on pl|video|ml windows).
