Winamp crash when using enqueue ...

I have an unusual problem : winamp crashes every time I use "Jump to file->Enqueue selected" from playlist or press "Q" on the keyboard (with playlist being the active window).
I have to mention that I have a few titles in playlist (~15k) and I think this error might have something to do with this because if I have a reasonable lower amount of titles (around 1-2k) this doesn't happen. If I have around 7-8k titles this happens if I press "Q" faster then winamp can handle the requests (processor usage spikes at 100% for a brief moment every time I press "Q"). Now I cannot use this feature at all ...
I don't know if it this is a bug (although it is reproducible) or just something wrong here.
@mods : if you think it is, you can move this to Bugs section.

The message that I receive is :
"Faulting application winamp.exe, version 5.5.4.2165, faulting module gen_jumpex.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00002c22".

And now the technical stuff :
Motherboard : Gigabyte P35-S3G
Processor : Intel Quad Core 2 Q6600 2.4GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Video card : Gigabyte GeForce 8500GT (not sure it's relevant)
Sound card : Creative SB! Live Value
Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2
Winamp : v5.541 Full version
DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
No antivirus installed
No 3rd-party firewall installed (just basic XP firewall)
No Creative software installed except the sound driver (basic installation, no additional Creative Suite/Media Center and stuff)

I tried on an older system (Celeron 2.8GHz/512MbRAM/Onboard sound and later on with my SB!Live) -> same result (so it's not a multicore thing) and starts crashing with even fewer titles (around 10k).
I am playing only mp3s and flacs.
I did a clean install of winamp -> same result.
I searched in forums for two days -> no luck.

If you have any suggestions what I might/should try, I'm open, just please don't tell me to use several small playlists instead of a big one (I've tried that and it's a pain)

Thank you.
