looks ok, I guess.

Ever since I got KDE, I have been trying VERY hard to get away from the default KDE look. It's just not that good. You can't do much to KDE graphical-wise though. I would use a different graphical desktop, but they all lack the functionality of KDE.

I really like Red Hat's bluecurve theme in Redhat 8, esp with Gnome. It looks far more polished than any other Linux I've seem, and I can leave everything at the defaults, and it looks great. Less time tinkering and more time being productive

the wallpaper falsely advertises two things:

1) you can't contain linux in a barrel AND
2) linux isn't "very powerful"

the windows look is excellent, pre-XP. it's sleek and simple, and nothing takes up more space than it really needs. i've only ever seen one thing i liked more, and that was enlightenment.

Uhg, I hate the way XP looks, mind you I hate all of XP, I wish I had an alternative. Bar 98 which I am never going to use, EVER AGAIN!

It's good, in a kinda not way, I prefer my XP Aqua Mac OS theme, wouldn't change it for anything else.

If you like the way Linux looks, see if you can find screenshots of people running Gnome, Enlightenment, or GTK+. Now that is some nice looking stuff.

better yet, just look at what people have done here:
