Desirable Disorder

You know, given the choice of any life-altering disorder, this one seems almost desirable.

Especially for college.

A Very Rare Case

Considering that the average person sleeps for one third of their life, it would be interesting from the point of view that you are effectively being handed 25+ years more to play with....

after going about 60 hours without sleep I began to hallucinate. Sounds like that guy handles it pretty well though. That would kick ass.

The article does state that a small number of insomniacs can cope and lead otherwise normal lives. He appears to be lucky.

i wonder if he ever gets fatigued though. He would make an excellent millitant, esp. sniper, being able to never haev to sleep, he could watch a target indefidently.

It usually kicks in for me around day 4 at about 4:17AM.

Think of all the UT2004 I've gotten to play though!...

I feel sorry for this guy.

Yeah, me too. Although you have to think--if he were in a higher-tech environment, and had the resources to make an environment where there'd be something worthwhile to do at night--recreation or a night job, or whatever--there are some serious advantages to that situation.

The question is whether the side effects outweigh the benefits...although, being handed another effective 25 years of my life sounds pretty good at face value, you know?

It sounds nice, but I personally find sleep very nice. Dreams are some of the best parts of my life.

Yea, well, once Death stared Vin Diesel in the eyes, and Death died.

Vin Diesel has two speeds; walk and kill.

There is no theory of evolution, just a list of creatures Vin Diesel allows to live.

Vin Diesel once walked down the street with a massive erection. There were no survivors.

In an average living room there are 1,242 objects Vin Diesel could use to kill you, including the room itself.
