Transferring the bookmarks from one machine to another

Is there a way to export the bookmarks (in Winamp) from one machine to another?

I tried exporting an xml file, and sending it by email, but it didn't contain the bookmarks:

file/add media to library/library tab/export media database

Hi dodger4,

The file Undead Antagonis indicated is in your users winamp data folder. Just copy it to the same folder on the other machine. If you don't know where this folder is, use the Windows search feature to locate the file.

There is also a backup of this file in the same folder called "winamp.bm8".

actually winamp.bm8 is the main file and winamp.bm is a legacy file for compatibility purposes with older plug-ins, etc. so if anything. the old winamp.bm is more like the backup file

Interesting.
So I assume dodger4 should copy both of them.

yeah or just the bm8 version (as the bm version is auto-generated), though am debating whether that legacy aspect can be dropped or just done if specifically enabled as part of a legacy option (same for not having to save out the winamp.m3u8 and winamp.m3u files - as winamp.m3u is done for legacy uses as well).

A legacy option sounds like a good idea.
