'cannot eject ipod'

So far, this plug-in has increased my love for my iPod 1000%.

But, unfortnately I am unable to eject my iPod using the "eject" button. I get a 'cannot eject ipod' error message.

I am using Win2000 Professional with my 20gb HP iPod.
Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks!

Phil

Yeah,I have that problem...I just close winamp and eject like normal (I'm running ME). The only problem it seems to make is that it then puts the clicker on speaker again, so I have to change it back.

You could just open 'My Computer' and right click the iPod drive and select 'eject'.

80GB 5.5 generation Video iPod

4GB and 8GB gen 2 Nano's with ****+

Winamp 5.52 Pro ; ml_iPod 3.05

Well, is there a way to eject the iPod so that it isn't in that busy "Do not disconnect" mode, but so that it still is charging? Thats what I would like to do.

Thanks all,

Phil

Maybe its something with the way I am ejecting it. But when I eject it through My Computer, it no longer charges.

I'm still getting this 'cannot eject' issue - a minor annoyance, I can still use the safely remove hardware if necesary - I'm sorry I can't be more specific as to the problem, but I'm not sure how else to troubleshoot it.
