"Sendto" doesn't delete files on Shuffle

Hi there!

Have a strange problem, am I to stupid or is it the plugins fault ?

When using Autofill on my connected iPod Shuffle, everything works perfect: Old songs are deleted, as I configured, and new ones are transfered randomly.

But >>> When I decide to "sendto" some songs to my iPod it does start transferring, but then states the error, that my device is full. Of course its full, but why isnt he just deleting some random songs like he does with autofill?

Please advise? Is there an option for this? I coudnt find anything in the options or the forums!

greetings

Poidl

SendTo is not for deleting songs.
You have to delete some of them manually, to make room for new.
Only pressing the Autofill button will remove songs.

There is no option for what you expect. It just doesn't work that way.

Hi abu!

Thats not good news, but thank you for the fast answer

It's really a pity, because this feture would be REALLY handy...imagine you got this new album, your ipod is full and you just want to transfer it WITHOUT caring about deleting other songs...if it works for autofill why not for sendto?

It's a structural problem, not as easy as you think. Takes some hours to code... and there is more important stuff, sorry.

Okay, I understand!

Maybe a "delete random songs with x MB" function would be easier to implement?

greetings

Richard, the nerdy one
