anyways, I've been playing with the toy flexi gave us ^_^ and although it doesn't provide the effect anymore, it is quite a mindfuck!!

That's strange the picture you took is completely different from what I got on my PC and notebook (both nvidia). The whole screen should tile with that effect. The shaders were pretty simple, maybe I need to set a render state or something, but I don't have any ATI based pcs around to test with.

thx for downgrading.
if you want to see the difference even on your nvidia chips, just use sampler_fc_main. if you then place your uv-vector in a frac( ) expression, everything will be fine again - on both cards.
and to pimp the effect one more time, check out this line of code
my_uv = 1.0 - abs( frac( my_uv * 0.5 ) * 2.0 - 1.0 ); // Eo.S' mirror code

The original version of Angry Snowflake is working fine for me on a Radeon 4870 with the newest Cat drivers. Maybe updating the drivers will fix the issue for older ATI cards too
