My 60 gig is about half full, mainly my folder plus my archives of my talkshow fill it up. I'm going to be expanding soon lol.

All this extra storage space is great and everything, but it really doesn't help me. I need drives that are FASTER. Even RAID 0 is still far too slow. My computer is constantly lagging because of the hard drives. :\

640k sbould be enough for.. err ..
But really, how large (read: inefficient) do we expect programs to be in the future?

clean up once in a while, and remove programs you don't use, it makes it faster.

Then again, you could get faster hardware again but that would only make matters worse in the end

If you start storing media on drives they fill up fast. Just the old time radio crap I put on http://cityofrosesradio.com is 80 GB. Then start storing music in flac or monkeyaudio instead of MP3. HDTV video gets big in a hurry if you're using a multimedia pc.
