I never said it wasn't a good system. I just said that it's only an opinion.

I can't say whether or not I like the Master System better than the NES, because I've never played the Master System before.

And I remember when I first got my NES. I was glued to it for weeks straight.

Same with the Master System, except it was the only time mys mum helped me to play. God, level 2 of Sonic was hard.

Well, I was only 5.

Found a copy of the original Bomberman a little while ago when I stopped by the flea market again. It's in good shape and has a sleeve. I've also got him holding onto a copy of Super Metroid for me (with gamepak sleeve, booklet, and player's guide) until I go back out there next weekend. Pretty soon, I'll have to add my SNES collection to this thread, too.

Do these games even play? If you've seen and ignored the legend of cage (kage) you really need to get it. im not sure if its a collectable, but its good.

Picked up a copy of Air Fortress when I was at the mall earlier today. I can barely remember playing this game when I was a kid, but for $4, I figured it was a pretty good deal. Gamepak is in great shape, too.

I don't. I bought my first copy for like, 25 cents. The other ones came bundled with used systems that I've bought since then. And I think one was given to me.

Erm... ok.

I shot my dad's 12 gauge slug gun when we were target practicing a few weeks ago. We had some cinder blocks set up, and they literally turned to dust when I shot them.

But I fail to see what that has to do with old NES games.

Stopped by the flea market again today just to say hi to my "supplier" (sounds like I'm a druggie or something ), but I ended up buying a few games from him (of course). I picked up a copy of the original The Legend Of Zelda and a copy of Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link. Both are gold versions, both came with their original boxes and gamepak sleeves, and both are in immaculate condition. The original had the booklet with it, and the second had the poster that shipped with the game. Both even had the little styrofoam blocks that came packaged in the bottom of the box to take up space. Aside from those two games, I also got a copy of Panic Bomber for the Virtual Boy... even though that's not going on this list. Cool nonetheless, considering that there were only like, 14 games ever released for the VB.

Sarge, i'll be in florida, so it'd be quite a distance away, and I'm not a nice enough guy to do it without at least getting paid for shipping it, so if you dont want it, i think one of my old primary school friends who lives a couple of streets away had a NES. I'll go down and ask him if he wants it. Can you play mulitplayer duck hunt?

Haha no I don't think Duck Hunt is multiplayer. If your friend wants it, then by all means. I found mine, and actually, I have two Zappers. One is grey, and the other is orange. So, I think I'm good with those. Thanks anyways, Nobby.

Don't start something you can't finish. And no, I don't have Ninja Gaiden yet. I plan on getting it soon, though. My supplier at the flea market always has at least one copy of it in stock.

If you can find it, you may save some cash by obtaining the SNES Ninja Gaiden Trilogy Cart. Its all 3 Nes games on one cart the only thing is that unlike Mario All Stars, they did no updating, they are the exact originals in all their 8-bit glory.

items of 80's nostalga seem to be all the rage right now. Have you found sgt if this fad has elivated the cost of NES cart collecting at all?

For one thing I know I can get more for my working NES then I can for my modded PSone.
