WINAMP on a MP3 CD/DVD

Hi!
I own a MP3 DVD of one popular band of 80s.
The DVD contains an installed copy of WINAMP, as well as a normal install package.
Is it legal for the company to distribute WINAMP on a DVD? (I'll contact the company if it's not)

I would assume that as long as Winamp is the free version, and there are clear links and credit for Winamp.com, it can't be too bad a thing to happen. (I have never read the licence agreement... but then who does?)

Seemingly no links, except the installer version is present in the same folder as the "installed" copy.
So, I suppose, the company does it illegally. <!>_<!>
