Yes that's right folx. I've joined the Wa3 crowd. Let me tell you, this program in its infant stage is WONDEROUS... The best feature that has incredible room for improvement is the database. If only they had a search ability.

It looks great, and every one of my MP3's sounds beyond wonderous. Beyond that, it's quick to load, eats my 60 gig collection for breakfast (indexed it in about 5 min, reloads in less than 5).

Keep kickin' ass guys!

/me stares with wide eyes and a gaping mouth

60 gig collection? hmmmm ..... how many mp3's is that? I'd guess but then again there is bitrate and everything else that factors in.

I have 12,621 mp3's in 893 directories... taking up 59.5 gig of space... and winamp3 ate them all like they were polly-o string cheese!

Nice... nice nice nice

Bitrates

Now that's very intriguing... my brother asked me if a plugin for winamp3 in the works that scans its database for files >192 and re-encodes them... wouldn't that be nifty? If only the quality from a re-encode sounded good :P

*Drum cadence, traditional. Horns kick in with the chorus singing "hey hey momma said the way you move, gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove*

*Horn section kicks in to replace the guitar wailing, cadence once more*

*Cadence goes into Purple Haze, horns and woodwinds flanking*

God I think I'd actually go to that parade... I play Bass Clarinet so I think I'd even get into it
